R.E. Turner
Vice Chairman of Time Warner Inc.

R.E. Turner is vice chairman of Time Warner Inc., a position he assumed on October 10, 1996. He is also a member of the Time Warner board of directors. Turner oversees the Time Warner cable networks division, which consists of the assets of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., including the domestic and international arms of Cable News Network, Cartoon Network, Headline News, TBS Superstation, Turner Classic Movies and Turner Network Television, as well as Home Box Office, Inc., Cinemax, Warner Bros. International Networks and Time Warner's interest in Comedy Central and Court TV. He also oversees New Line Cinema and the company's professional sports teams: Major League Baseball's Atlanta Braves, National Basketball Association's Atlanta Hawks and the Thrashers, Atlanta's National Hockey League expansion team.

Currently, Turner is a member of the board of directors and former chairman of the National Cable Television Association. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Change, the Greater Yellowstone Coalition, the International Founders Council of the Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian and the Business Council for the United Nations. He is president of the Turner Foundation, the Turner family's private grant-making organization which focuses on population and the environment. Turner is also chairman of the United Nations Foundation, a charitable organization he founded to support United Nations causes.

Turner, the recipient of numerous honorary degrees, is an active environmentalist and has received numerous civic and industry awards and honors, including being named Time magazine's 1991 Man of the Year. He is also a superior yachtsman, having won national and world sailing titles, including a successful defense of the 1977 America's Cup, the 1979 Fastnet Trophy and four Yachtsman of the Year awards. In October 1995, Turner accepted, on behalf of the team, the Atlanta Braves' first World Championship trophy.

Terence F. McGuirk is chairman and chief executive officer of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., a subsidiary of Time Warner Inc. His responsibilities include corporate oversight of the Turner domestic and international entertainment networks, among them TBS Superstation, Turner Network Television (TNT), Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies, TNT Latin America, Cartoon Network Latin America, TNT & Cartoon Network in Europe, TNT & Cartoon Network in Asia Pacific, Cartoon Network Japan and Turner South. In addition, he has overall responsibility for all news and entertainment advertising and distribution, both domestically and internationally, as well as for all corporate administrative functions, Turner Sports, the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Hawks and the Atlanta Thrashers. McGuirk is based in Atlanta and reports to R.E. Turner, vice chairman of Time Warner Inc. McGuirk was executive vice president of the company from October 1990 to October 1996. He joined TBS, Inc. in 1972 as an account executive with WTCG, later TBS Superstation. In 1973, he assumed the same role at TBS-owned WRET in Charlotte, N.C. McGuirk returned to Atlanta in 1975 as director of cable relations, where he was instrumental in the launch of TBS Superstation. Since then, he has played a key role in the launch of every Turner network.

Steven J. Heyer

Steven J. Heyer is president and chief operating officer of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. His responsibilities include overseeing the Turner Broadcasting domestic and international entertainment networks, among them TBS Superstation, Turner Network Television (TNT), Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies, TNT Latin America, Cartoon Network Latin America, TNT & Cartoon Network in Europe, TNT & Cartoon Network in Asia Pacific, Cartoon Network Japan and Turner South. Heyer also has overall responsibility for the primary revenue streams of the company, which include advertising sales, cable and satellite subscription fees and international carriage agreements for all Turner news and entertainment networks worldwide. He is based in Atlanta and reports to Terence F. McGuirk, chairman and chief executive officer of TBS, Inc. Heyer joined the company in 1994 as president of Turner Broadcasting System Sales, Inc. In this role, he led TBS, Inc.’s sales and marketing, promotion, merchandising, licensing, direct marketing, event sponsorship, product placement, place-based media and new media initiatives worldwide. In April 1996, he added the role of chairman of Turner EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, Africa) to his duties, assuming responsibility for strategic policy and operating results within those regions. Heyer’s role was further expanded in October 1996, when he assumed oversight of the company’s primary revenue streams.

Bradley J. Siegel

Bradley J. Siegel is president of general entertainment networks for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. In this capacity, he oversees all operations of TBS Superstation, Turner Network Television (TNT), Turner Classic Movies and Turner South. Siegel is based in Atlanta and reports to Steven J. Heyer, president and chief operating officer of TBS, Inc. Prior to assuming his current position in October 1999, Siegel had served as president of TNT and Turner Classic Movies since August 1994. He joined TBS, Inc. in January 1993 from American Movie Classics (AMC), where as vice president of programming and production he was responsible for the development and administration of all programming and production strategies.

Dennis Quinn
Executive Vice President and General Manager
TBS Superstation

Dennis Quinn is executive vice president and general manager of TBS Superstation. In this capacity, he oversees all day-to-day operations of the network, including programming, marketing, budgetary and staffing matters. Quinn is based in Atlanta and reports to Bradley Siegel, president of general entertainment networks, TBS, Inc. In his previous position as senior vice president and general sales manager for TBS Superstation, he was responsible for representing the network to the New York advertising community, a position he held since 1997. He played a key role in driving the Superstation’s popular movie franchises Dinner & a Movie, Movie Lounge and Movies for Guys Who Like Movies for the network and its advertisers.
